Privacy policy

This policy explains how Vetrox Technology Solutions Pty Ltd (ABN 35 702 145 177) collects, uses and protects personal information, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

When you contact us or book a call we collect the details you give us: your name, how to reach you (an email address, phone number or WeChat ID), your company, the message you send and, if you choose to answer them, what you need and how you found us. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP address and pages requested, for security and reliability. We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not tell us who you are. For each page view it records the time, the page address (including tags such as where a link came from), the referring site, an approximate location (country, region and city) and your device type, operating system and browser. It tells visits apart with a code made from your request, which it discards after 24 hours; the anonymous page-view records are kept for our reports. The site sets no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The only thing it stores in your browser is your day or night mode preference. We do not buy or sell personal information.

How we use it

We use your details to reply to your enquiry, to scope and deliver work you engage us for, and to send invoices. How you found us only tells us which channels bring enquiries. We do not add you to a marketing list without asking.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers we need to run the business, such as our email, messaging, calendar, hosting and accounting platforms. Calls are booked through Lark Scheduler, so the details you enter there are handled by Lark, and messages sent through our contact form are delivered to our team in Lark. Visit counts are processed by Vercel, which hosts this site. Some of these providers store data outside Australia, for example Lark in Japan and Vercel in the United States. If you give us a WeChat ID, we reply on WeChat, which Tencent runs from servers outside Australia, including in mainland China. Client project data stays within the systems we build for you, in accounts you own.

Storage and security

Data is stored with reputable providers that use encryption in transit and at rest. Access is limited to people who need it and protected by multi-factor authentication.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@vetroxtech.com.au and we will respond within 30 days.
